| How do I know how much money to bring to settlement? |
| Virginia law mandates that all settlement amounts be in the form of certified or cashier’s check. The check should be made payable to Champion Title and presented at the time of settlement. We will attempt to inform you of the exact amount needed prior to closing. If this is not possible, we will accept an amount equal to the estimated closing costs and prepaid escrows provided by your loan officer. Any overage will be refunded to you and any additional amount due can be paid with your personal check (up to $3,000). |
